More Details

This coat was inspired by herki rug, one of the handicrafts of Iran, woven by Ili named Herki. All the preparation steps, including the production of colored threads, drawing the map and finally weaving the carpet, were done by the women of Il. Today, these rugs are no longer woven. To implement the carpet designs on this coat , embroidery and patchwork are used and it is completely handmade. The installation of navy blue roots around the collar and around the sleeves evokes the roots on the side of this old carpet. This coat is named Harki because of its design concept.
